From what I know I am Not Sure that this is true but from what I had herd Fred Bear started all this mess!! At first he was Fred Bear but is now the person you know now... GOLDEN FREDDY! from my study this is how it started.
I believe phone guy made him and he had been watching you from FnaF 1 TO FnaF 4
